Crochet Baby blanket

Photobucket

Simple baby blanket pattern

You can use any size hook, or yarn for this. In the blanket above I was using a P hook and two strands of medium sport weight yarn held together.

To start
Chain as many as it takes to make the length of the blanket

Row 1
SC into each chain, Turn

Row 2
SC into each stitch, chain 2, Turn

Row 3
HDC into each stitch, chain 3, Turn

Row 4 - 20 (the number of rows can be changed to fit how wide you want the blanket)
DC into each stitch, Chain 3, Turn

Row 21
DC into each Stitch, Chain 2, Turn

Row 22
HDC into each stitch, Turn

Row 23
SC into each stitch, turn

Row 24 SC into each stitch, tie off at end of last stitch, weave in all ends

The edging can be any or none, I choose a simple edging that I liked, any would do, fringe, tassels, scalloped, any thing you find nice or just leave plain.
